Edward Snowden may be guilty of leaking classified information, but the is NOT guilty of Treason. The U. S. Constitution has a very narrow definition of treason, Art III, Section 3, "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.". Any politician who throws around the Treason word is either grandstanding, or ignorant of the Constitution, or perhaps, more likely, both.
