Egypt wasnt always a Islamist hotbed. In 1933, Egyptians boycotted German products because of the Nazi Partys treatment of Jews and Jews held openly anti-Nazi meetings in Egyptian cities. In 1933, the Nazi Foreign Office reported that their propaganda efforts were failing so they decided that they had to change their focus. They said: So we must therefore focus more on the points of conflicts of interest between Arabs and Jews exists like Palestine.
