Eid Mubarak... This is a time of the year to remember -- particularly in the light of the current Israel / Gaza conflict -- that Jews and Arabs are both Semites. The same ethnic origins --- Jews and Arabs are cousins, indeed! And that Judaism and Islam are very similar religions, which historically mostly enjoyed great affinity (as opposed to Judaism and Christianity, and Islam and Christianity) . Ive spent years living in different parts of the Muslim world, where Ive had some of the best moments of my life, and I count many Muslims amongst my closest friends. Hence, heres a very genuine EID MUBARAK to all of you!
