The study tour, consisted of orientations and lectures from the Safety, Assay, Engineering, Environment and Community Relations departments, was a venue for the visitors to grasp the overview and general operations of the company. Apart from the accomplishments and advances made by the company, the speakers highlight their presentations on the rationale why HMC excels and distinct from other nickel mining companies. During their mine tour, they visited some of the active mine pits and the areas undergoing reforestation and rehabilitation. Belonging to one core company which is Nickel Asia Corporation, RTN and HMC are both sister companies wherein linkaging and collaboration is vital to spur development and growth between and among companies. Recently, HMC has been nominated for this year’s 2014 Presidential Mineral Industry Environmental Awards, a prestigious award for the industry conferred annually for the top performing mining companies. #NACcares #HMC #RTN #linkagingandcollaboration
