Eighteen (18) elementary-aged students and their parents/grandparents turned out today for the organizational meeting of our new Junior Naturalists Club. We planned our schedule and learned about what the kids are interested in learning about and doing and then took a bird walk. Barb Egerton, Deb Siglin, and Doug Burton have volunteered to be club leaders. Naturalist Club members Wyatt Trantham, Nathan Cunfer, and Kelci Kirnschild were also there as mentors. Thanks to all who came today. It was a great turnout.
