Einstein is a very clever 6 week old kitten who was handed over to a staff member in the parking lot of the shelter at closing time on New Years Eve. He reportedly was causing allergic reactions in his recently acquired home. Einstein was fascinated by all of the activity he observed in the kitten room and wanted to join in the fun which was not allowed until he completed intake procedures and observations. Hoping to attract a sympathetic human, he extended his paws through the enclosure bars to entice release. After a quick photo while firmly held and a return to his suite, he observed the closing of the gate and set about to wiggle the bar and attempt to release himself. Though disappointed that his critical thinking skills have not obtained his release, he will continue to implement his problem solving positive attitude to not let that silly gate get in the way of the action below. This is a good time ginger tabby baby boy full of fun and ready to turn on the purr box for anyone willing to offer a cuddle and be his playmate. Einstein arrived on 31 Dec 14.
