Either the Russians are going to invade eastern Ukraine, or they have amassed troops on the border to dissuade Ukraine from trying to take back Crimea. If they invade, the Dnieper river seems like an obvious border between Ukraine and a new Russian Ukraine. The pro-western capital Kiev, is right on that river, but the government buildings are on the west side. I think the Russians will stop there because to go further would start a war between Russia and Europe and eventually the US. bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-26704205
