Ek muthi aasman end in 10 days Barely a month after replacing the original lead couple — Ashish Chowdhry and Rachana Parulkar — with Asha Negi and Kunal Verma, the channel has decided to pull the plug on Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. The show will end on September 12. A new storyline and new lead couple failed to pump up the ratings of the daily series. Actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who made her acting debut on the small screen with the family drama, says, Yes, it will be an abrupt ending. Im sad and disappointed. We did the best we could to improve the ratings. The show had to end some day, but it has happened too soon. We couldve gone on for one more year. While I got positive feedback from the viewers, the show couldnt rake in great numbers. Im secretly hoping for a miracle to happen, but the word is final. Manager L
