Ek non muslim bhai ka sawal hai ki.... zoya u r telng mny thngs abt islam bt jst tel me y ur islam alwng to marry more thn 1 wivs, iz it crct in islam, ek ladki ko dhoka dekar dusri ko ahadi karna kiya sahi hai? Good question brother... that is y i always tel u that to understand islam look over quran but naver look over a muslim.... islam is the only relion and quran is the only religious scripture which says that marry only one.... theres no verse in bible, veda, geetha besides quran which says marry only one... father os sri ram acc to ramayan had 3 wives.... sri krishn acc to maha bharath had 16108 wives... quran says in the surah nisa MARRY WOMEN OF YOUR CHOICE IN 2S OR 3S OR 4S BUT IF U CANT DO JUSTICE THEN MARRY ONLY ONE... This statement marry only one is given only in the quran but not in any other scripture.... reason that y had islam permitted men to marry more than 1... many non muslims thinks that marrying more than 1 is compulsory for a muslim man.... its not compulsory it is optional... Indian statistics says that per a day more than 3000 females get aborted after identifying that they are females do u knw that.... if u analise brother there are 1million females more than males in newyork.... there are 7.8 million females more than males in usa.... in uk there are 4million ore females... in germany there are 5million more... in russia there are 9million more females... and ALLAH onkly knws how many females are more in the whole world... if i accept to ur concept that 1 man with 1 female then what is the matter of rest of the womens... what will be the position of these many millions of females... a muslim man by marrying more than 1 is giving life to them.... he is uplifting the women but not degrading them.... brother m asking u the question if a muslim does not make more than 1 wife will u marry all the millions of girls.... will u give support to all the girls... kya un sab ladies ko thum paaloge.... in islam every point is very meaningful and very helpful for the human beings.... this rule is prescribed just to do justice for women, to give support to the women, to give life for the women... ALLAH already knws that this problem will come in the society that is y he permitted a muslim man to marry more than one but only if he can do justice.... and when that man and women doesnt have any problem y u have problem in between i dont understand....
