El Pilar Completed Congratulations and Awards to all of you. It is my great pleasure to unveil the completed rendition of Pilar. The once famous and now infamous fishing luxury yacht of Earnest Hemmingway. This boat is a center piece in American and Cuban culture. Not only did Hemmingway write about his adventure in fishing and his escapades of chasing down German submarines in World War II. But it is a legend in the annuals of story telling at its best. I thank you for following this post and sharing your comments. It has been my pleasure to share this build. I know many of you at this time are not in a place that you have a work shop or place to have a model lay out; I hope it has brought you some enjoyment.
