Again, for the second time in their lives, El Sistema-kids are playing and singing with their Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra role models. Side by side. Two orchestras. Millions of tones. Love, passion and music, as tools for every childs future. Conductor Manuel López-Gómez grew up in Venezuela, he learned to play and to live within El Sistema, he knows. He flies from Caracas to Gothenburg. Visitors from abroad and from other cities in Sweden also arrives. Friends as Tricia Tunstall, Eric Booth and Nicola Killean are already there. The movie Side by Side includes Maestro José Antonio Abreu, Gustavo Dudamel and The Simón Bolívar National Orchestra visiting London.
