Elaine Trimmell 09/11/2014 Again a long night with pain. However, again during the day, he had fewer doses of pain meds. He did PT by getting up in the wheelchair for about 45 minutes. He had a slight fever they thought might be caused by the PICC line or a UTI. They took the PICC line out and started him on some antibiotics. He had quite a few family and friends visit today. He loves talking and visiting with everyone. Tomorrow, they will do his two-week assessment for the study he is a part of. Then on Sunday, they will do an early termination assessment. He is anxious to go to Dallas on Monday to get started on rehab! If things go as planned, Craig will be flying into Dallas. Barry and I will be driving down to Dallas on Monday. Thanks to everyone for signing his visitor book, allowing me to take pictures and post them, and liking and commenting on this Facebook Group. He will be able to continue to access these during his rehab, and gain strength and encouragement from them.
