Elderly man showed up at my door before I left for work this - TopicsExpress

Elderly man showed up at my door before I left for work this morning. He lives in the building and Ive seen him often, caring for his disabled sister, who also lives in the building. Well call him Dennis. Dennis stuck his hand out and asked my name. Ive seen you often and we talk occasionally, but I didnt know your name. He then told me that due to some problems with his sister, he doesnt have enough money at the moment to pay his rent, and could he borrow $250 from me. He began to shake and cry. I got out my check book and asked him the amount he needed. Well... I need $500, but I only want to ask you for $250. I will talk to Jason about getting the other $250. Jason is always nice to me too. I walked with him to the bank, and he cashed the check. We talked a while, and he cried. Hell pay me back by the 20th, he insisted. And he shook when we hugged goodbye. Fair warning, Jason. :) Maybe its something about how we were raised?!??!
