Eleazar Castaños Gomez pulled a typical trick Muslims love to use....DISAPPEAR when questions come up you cant answer, and then REAPPEAR later, after tey get buried in the tread!! Just because I love Eleazar so much, I decided to give him a second chance to address those questions...in case it was an accident!!!:Greg Williams Eleazar Castaños Gomez...you claim teh Quran has passed some test of purity and credibility??? WHAT TEST??...even your own scholars admit the numerous changes, and incompleteness due to much of its being lost forever!!! Tell me which test you are referring to, and explain these issues:Bukhari Hadith narrates the story of Qur’an collection commission between Abu Bakr and Omar: Narrated Zaid bin Thabit Al-Ansari: who was one of those who used to write the Divine Revelation: Abu Bakr sent for me after the (heavy) casualties among the warriors (of the battle) of yamama (where a great number of Qurra’ were killed). ‘Umar was present with Abu Bakr who said, ‘Umar has come to me and said, The people have suffered heavy casualties on the day of (the battle of) yamama, and I am afraid that there will be more casualties among the Qurra’ (those who know the Qur’an by heart) at other battle-fields, whereby a large part of the Qur’an may be lost, unless you collect it. And I am of the opinion that you should collect the Qur’an.” Abu Bakr added, “I said to ‘Umar, ‘How can I do something which Allah’s Apostle has not done?’ ‘Umar said (to me), ‘By Allah, it is (really) a good thing.’ So ‘Umar kept on pressing, trying to persuade me to accept his proposal, till Allah opened my bosom for it and I had the same opinion as ‘Umar.” (Zaid bin Thabit added:) Umar was sitting with him (Abu Bakr) and was not speaking. me). “You are a wise young man and we do not suspect you (of telling lies or of forgetfulness): and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah’s Apostle. Therefore, look for the Qur’an and collect it (in one manuscript). ” By Allah, if he (Abu Bakr) had ordered me to shift one of the mountains (from its place) it would not have been harder for me than what he had ordered me concerning the collection of the Qur’an. I said to both of them, “How dare you do a thing which the Prophet has not done?” Abu Bakr said, “By Allah, it is (really) a good thing. So I kept on arguing with him about it till Allah opened my bosom for that which He had opened the bosoms of Abu Bakr and Umar. So I started locating Quranic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leaf-stalks of date palms and from the memories of men (who knew it by heart). I found with Khuzaima two Verses of Surat-at-Tauba which I had not found with anybody else, (and they were):– “Verily there has come to you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty He (Muhammad) is ardently anxious over you (to be rightly guided)” (9.128) The manuscript on which the Quran was collected, remained with Abu Bakr till Allah took him unto Him, and then with ‘Umar till Allah took him unto Him, and finally it remained with Hafsa, Umar’s daughter. We have already seen that on the Day of Yamama not long after Muhammads death texts of the Quran that were said to have been known only to those who perished in the battle were irretrievably lost. We also find many other instances in the historical record of the Quran text where individual verses and, at times, lengthy portions are said to have been omitted from it. There is, in fact, a virtually unanimous opinion among the early historians that the Quran, as it stands, is incomplete. Abdullah ibn Umar, in the earliest days of Islam, was quite emphatic about this: It is reported from Ismail ibn Ibrahim from Ayyub from Naafi from Ibn Umar who said: Let none of you say I have acquired the whole of the Quran. How does he know what all of it is when much of the Quran has disappeared? Rather let him say I have acquired what has survived. (as-Suyuti, Al-Itqan fii Ulum al-Quran, p.524). 11 hours ago · Like · 1 Eleazar Castaños Gomez thank you for the special mention. Im not fooling anybody here. I believed Paul did that. Jesus stated straight statement in Holy Quran, Jesus said: And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him Alone. That is the Straight Path. Q19:36 11 hours ago · Like Greg Williams Eleazar Castaños Gomez, are you aware that there are ZERO copies of teh 7 differebt codices that resulted from Umar and Abu Bakrs efforts to write down teh Quran AFTER Muhammads death??? Are you aware that there are only 2 PARTIAL copies of the Uthamnic rescension, both containing only 43 surahs??? Compare that to 20,000 copies of te NT, some going back to the first century. Now what test was that again???? 11 hours ago · Like · 1 Greg Williams Eleazar Castaños Gomez??????..ypu spoke of some test that teh Quran oassed..it certainly wasnt teh textual critism test..can you tell me which test you are referriin o?? Im not fooling anybody here. I believed Paul did that.// The Lord Jesus Christ hand-picked Paul for His ministry of revelation teaching of the Trinity and the Bride of Christ. Again, such blatant exposure of your ignorance. Acts 9:13-15 Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. So if youre calling Jesus stupid..... God have mercy 11 hours ago · Edited · Unlike · 1 Greg Williams Speaking of tests, you mentioned teh Injeel....can you give me a single reference to such a book ANY WHERE in history, or show me a copy f it...or even a MENTION of a copy....or a quote from just one verse??
