Srinagar//Election drama in Jammu Kashmir is a mere eye wash, fixed match and a one sided affair, that has no credibility at all. These manipulated elections cannot deter people of Jammu Kashmir from perusing the path of freedom. This was stated by the vice chairman JKLF Mushtaq Ahmad Ajmal while speaking on the occasion of distribution of warm clothes and other relief items among the victims of recent devastating floods. Commenting upon the elections, JKLF vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal said that after the devastation of recent floods every human was thinking of rehabilitation of the devastated people but India and its power hungry stooges who can cross every limit of shame for achieving power, imposed the torture of elections on the people. He said that JKLF and other pro freedom parties are the ones who stood by the affected people and today when India and its stooges are celebrating manipulated election drama, we are trying to reach people with relief items to ease up their lives in this harsh cold weather. It is worth to mention that toady JKLF with the assistance of the elders of Mohala Kokerbazar, Mohammad Amin Mugloo and Shabir Ahmad Dabla etc distributed about 100 woolen Phiran (cloak) and bags of rice among the flood hit people. despite police crackdown on JKLF and its leadership, JKLF leaders and activists in past many days distributed hundreds of woolen Phirans, beddings, blankets, warm clothes and other relief items among flood devastated people of Maisuma, Babarshah, Shaheed Gunj, Suthrashahi ,Kokerbazar etc. Same process is being repeated at Batamaloo and Aabiguzar etc also. On the occasion JKLF vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal while thanking people who donated generously for the human cause ,said that JKLF has stood up to the cause of humanity in hard times and we take it as our duty to reach to the affected people. He said that today when flood affected people who have lost their shelters and other means of survival and are facing severe cold months, India and pro India parties and leaders are celebrating election drama. Ajmal sahib said that from 1950’s Kashmiris have been witnessing this drama every now and then but it has and will never change the course of our struggle for freedom. He said that the results of a fixed match have no value or credibility and even Indian leaders like LK Advani has admitted the fact that elections in Kashmir are always manipulated. Ajmal sahib said that after arresting total JKLF leadership including JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik , vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, vice chairman master Sheikh Mohammad Afzal, vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakshi, secretary general engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, zonal deputy chief organizer Siraj Ud Din Mir, Zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal, zonal senior vice president Mohammad Yasin Bhat, zonal press secretary Mohammad Ashraf Dar, District presidents Bashir Ahmad Boya, Rafiq Ahmad War and Javed Ahmad Butt, secretary Ganderbal Gayas ud din, Abdul Hamid, Mohammad Sultan Wani ,Mohammad Akbar ,Fayaz Ahmad , Aakif Ahmad, Mudasir Ahmad ,Parvaiz Ahmad and Mohammad Himayoon along with thousands of youth, this whole affair of so called elections has further lost its credibility and it has come down to a one sided match. He said that if India and its Kashmiri stooges have some shame left, they should provide JKLF and other pro-boycott people an opportunity to propagate their ideas freely so that the reality of these elections is known to everyone. While condemning the ongoing crackdown of Maisuma where police and forces have through their nocturnal raids made the lives of people hell, Ajmal sahib said that even today police and forces unleashed a reign of terror across this locality and arrested a activists Ashfaq Hussain and Faisal Ahmad. This oppression is done in the name of so called democracy and elections which is deplorable, he said. Meanwhile JKLF has paid rich tributes to great Kashmiri thinker and journalist and founder of daily Aftab Jinab Khawaja Sanaullah Bhat on his death anniversary. Recalling his association with incarcerated JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik, a front spokesman described Khawja sahib as a legendary and a true journalist and intellectual. He said that people like Khwaja Sanaullah and founder of Srinagar time’s Kh.Ghulam Mohammad Sofi are symbols of glory for nations. Ends
