Elias Deli was the first place where I would lunch when I became a lawyer back in 1984. At the time, I was renting space from Sante Salvador and his late partners, Bill Cowan and David McWilliams in the CIBC building. It was there that Sante introduced me to many members of the local practising bar. It was a good place to get a great sandwich (the Dinty Moore was my favourite) and some timely advice from colleagues. Louie...you were always good to us all--hospitable and gracious. May you have a wonderful retirement!
