Elijah Part 23. Then, there is something strange, Mark 4 verse 36, they took him even as he was in the ship, and there were also with him other little ships. Actually, it says that they were obedient to His command, without knowing him, actually, or, as he was known, throughout the world, with other boats, warm, but not alive, (2 Kings 4 verse 34/35, then became warm the body of the young man). But also from the other side, goes up the comparison , that not only be in distress , the land of Israel , but we see now, arriving that more and more countries will no longer be able to keep their heads above the water . Now comes the time that is approaching, a large storm (1 Kings 18 verse 44), and we have seen that in 2 Kings 4 verse 35, and the lad sneezed seven times, compared to the same boy who, had seven times, climbing Mount Carmel. Then we see our Lord and Savior , sleeping on the stern, ( He put his head between his knees , 1 Kings 18 verse 42 b ) . He was not actually present , but if the water rises , Israel , to the lips , yes, then , comes into action , the Lord Jesus . As Elijah hid in verse 42 , ( and he cast himself down to earth ) , so difficult , will be found the Lord on earth! The surprising fact is that we would normally not expect that still keeps hidden , the Lord . This is understandable , we noticed though that was recorded , the municipality , the water of the burnt offering , had been leaking, even Moses, who was a picture of the Spirit , could not bring the people into the promised land . He was admitted , as will happen with the church , nothing will be recovered from us . This time , is the time of the great tribulation , and we see approaching , that the world is in decline , which she can not escape anymore . If the corruption strikes in this world, will no longer be present, the Lord. He sleeps on a pillow, what that means, we all know (idleness is the devils workshop). There will come a time, measured out in seven years without him. But then, if passed, the seven years, there will be a cloud, as large as the hand of a man, 1 Kings 18 verse 44, And it came to pass at the seventh time , that he said , Behold , there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea , like a man s hand . And he said , Go up , say unto Ahab , Prepare thy chariot , and get thee down , that the rain stop thee not . It seems, that this cloud is called, simply, but in reality these descriptions are of eminent importance, as they are chronicled mentioned here, especially if we consider again the reason why we are not stopped, after we had discussed so far , the story of Lazarus, and saw it, how Lazarus (God has helped), turned himself, to the people again, in order to elect a people being His property. We were saved by bringing thanks to the sacrifice of Calvary, as did Mary, (the anointing). Touching him like a garment, seen in 2 Corinthians 5 verses 2 and 4) to be witnesses with Him, relative to his people, but here, indicates the scripture, how we may fill in that testimony, we , and many still with us. What struck me first was the cloud, of the size of a human hand, it indicates from which time comes, this cloud. We had already seen that the five brothers, have something to do with the continuation of the history of the gospel because they were mentioned in connection with Gods help (Lazarus). Later, indicates the scripture, that time begins on the fifth day, then, was resurrected, Lazarus. The sacrifice on Calvary, shows the same figures, four piles, plus a garment (John 19 verse 23).
