:( Elis labs/chemistries/numbers, however you want to say it, are not high enough to receive chemo today. This will be only our second time (I think) that we do not receive chemo according to the schedule. There was one time during the first rodeo that they skipped a day (of three of a cycle) b/c of his bodys reaction to the treatment, but that was just missing a small percentage of it overall. This is the first time we are told, no, not going to do it at all this time. So, they are moving him back a week and giving his body more time to rebound. His platelets and ANC are not high enough according to the protocol to receive treatment, but you dont want to knock him down so low that he cant get it any more at all. But So, scary when you know something is working, you want to beat on it and beat on it. Eli got his latest Car and Driver mag with his fav set of wheels featured. Please, add a little one named Seth who found out that he has relapsed. We are collecting gently used, like new Halloween costumes (no devils, nothing gory, no zombies) to take to St. Jude at the end of the month. You can drop them off at my house on my porch, or at the Grasshopper in Athens, beside kindergarten at ABS, Midway Cycle in Madison, Bankston Motorhomes in Florence, at Madison church of Christ for members there. Our date to go to Memphis got changes, so I will collect now until October 20.
