ElizaJean Patterson You all know that Zynga still has control of Yoville not Big Viking Games. Big Viking Games wants to help us, do you think they will want to if you trash them on their Company page for something they have no control over? Please dont post on their Facebook page! Thanks! Teresa White An open letter to Yoville players who are posting to BVGs FB page, I would like to kindly ask you to consider a few things. It is obvious that you love the game. There are so many of us that do. When Zynga announced it was going to close our game, so many of us were really upset. Many of us have played for years and built amazing friendships and relationships in our little Yo world. We fought back. Unwilling to let them kill the game, many protested, made videos and wrote about what the game meant to them. Big Viking Games stepped up and said that they would try to help us. We were eventually informed that the game would not be closed on March 31st and that Zynga was in negotiations with BVG to discuss a possible sale of our beloved Yoville. I know that news is exciting. I also know that it is very hard to be patient. Our Yoville has been broken for a long time now. Many have jumped ship and left the game. But there are thousands of us who have held on, because we want the game restored to working order. We want to have events back and to be able to buy and sell our items. We want to be able to go to parties and fun events again. We want the ones who have caused trouble in the game stopped. I know how you all feel. I feel the same way, I want the game back in good and secure working order. What is bothering me, and the reason I wrote this open letter is because of some of the comments I have read on BVGs company page. They have not yet announced results of the discussions. That means that the game is NOT yet their responsibility. Why are some of you demanding that they fix the problems we have experienced in the last few days? Yes, there are loading issues. Yes, we are being disconnected. Yes, the lag is awful. I am asking that you not take your frustrations out on BVGs company page. They are a professional company that do not need to have disrespectful posts that their potential customers can see. I think it is really wrong to keep harassing them about the game. I hope some of you that have posted less than kind comments consider what you are doing. BVG is trying to help us. But to be honest, some of the things I have read by Yoville players has made me cringe. They have had to ask politely for people not to be rude or fight on their page and I think it is unfair to even put them in that position. I am asking for patience. I know it is hard. But I feel confident that once they have some information that they can legally share, they will. So from one Yoville player to another, give them a break please. Support their company if that is what you want to do, but please be respectful. I would hate for them to back out because they dont want to deal with the behavior of some players. The reality is, that the great majority of us are waiting patiently for some news, but some of you are making our community look bad. That bothers me because I know that Yoville has some of the kindest, friendliest and most honest players of any game I have ever played. Yoville has its issues for sure, and of course we are hoping that all of those issues will be resolved eventually, but please I ask you to refrain from being negative on BVGs page. Thank you if you have taken the time to read this. I hope you pass this on so that maybe we can show that Yoville players are respectful and appreciate the possibility of our game being saved.
