Elizabeth Ventura is a Production and Strategic Partnership Consultant with over 12 years experience in various aspects of production, outreach, and fundraising. She has managed multimillion-dollar production company operations, served as Line Producer on multiple broadcast series and managed complex outreach events. She is also a skilled specialist in fundraising, developing strategic partnerships, and designing effective outreach campaigns. Ms. Ventura began her career at KQED, a PBS member station in San Francisco, where she worked as an intern on the acclaimed “Neighborhoods” series. She went on to work for Edelman Productions and Michael Hoff Productions where she overhauled operations and streamlined systems to support the company as it tripled in productivity and programming revenue In 2003 she was recruited by Team Productions in Washington, DC, and returned to the East Coast to serve as Production Manager in their original production division. In 2005 her career took a fortuitous turn when she was hired by Jennifer Lawson, then General Manager of WHUT, as Development and Outreach Consultant, where she worked strategically with Ms. Lawson and COO John Hughes to create and implement annual development and outreach goals for the Washington, DC PBS station. In 2008 Ms. Ventura worked at Base Productions as Director of Production, Operations, & Business Affairs, where she playing a principal role managing the financial and production operations of the rapidly growing bi-coastal corporation and their affiliated companies. Ms. Ventura has served as Vice President of Development on the Board of Directors of Women in Film and Video, DC from 2004-2006, has been a guest lecturer on Production Management at both George Mason and American Universities, and is currently working toward her Master’s Degree in International Development
