Elliott Blair homered twice and the San Jose Giants knocked out 16 hits in a convincing 9-2 victory over the Bakersfield Blaze on Thursday evening at Sam Lynn Ballpark. Mac Williamson also homered for San Jose as the Giants took the opener of the three-game series and won their third straight game overall. Blair (2-for-5, 2 HR, 4 RBI) hit a pair of two-out, two-run home runs to lead the San Jose offensive attack. Williamsons (2-for-4, 2B, HR, RBI) home run was his first of the year while Jesus Galindo (3-for-5, 2B) and Brian Ragira (3-for-5, 2B, RBI) added three hits apiece.
