Ellis this is my first time I have been to Volta region, Ho to be precise. I lodged in a hotel for a month before being able to get accommodation in town. I am mainly in town due to a new branch my company has set up here and it was in the hotel that I did everything to put our office space into good condition. Where I live right now was sort for me by one of the workers in the hotel where all funds came from my company. It’s a big house that has three sleeping rooms in it and other small rooms that are for kitchen, store and wash rooms. After telling my HR about my discovery, the company then decided to take charge of the whole house. This is to house any other worker who might need room or accommodation. Huge sum of money has been paid in to the account of the Landlord who lives in the northern region through the care taker of the house. Ellis, one can just imagine no matter what, you need to be sociable with people in your area. One man who every day I meet before going to work called me one about four days ago to me that, people who ever lived in that house die barely six months after they assume the house. Chills run through my body and the rest of the day I was feeling very feverish. I enquired from other people and they also attest the fact. My company has rented the house on a five year term and telling them to withdraw this money from the Landlord will never yield any better result since I was made aware of that. The care taker of the house told me all of those stories were coincidental. I did called my HR and he told me not to believe those stories but concentrate on my new job and work hard. But Bright Ellis, I am afraid and don’t know what to do I feel like running away.
