Elmarie Steyn Hi CS, I was shocked to the core tonight. We were driving by the beachfront, when a Munto came flying past us, visibly intoxicated. Managed to pass the idiot, stoped at the red robot corner Fleet and Curry street. The same fellow road user stoped behind us, driver went straight into us. Called the cops, while waiting, a cop stoped by us, made his own assumption, not assisting anyone, demanding I drive off as we are apparently blocking the road! ! ! He took no notice of the guy that drove into us, ordering me to drive to fleet street police station threatining to arrest me if I dont get out the way! WTF !! Thats not the procedure at an accident! To cut a long story short, got absolutely no joy at fleet street police station, they were calling my boyfriend racist, and threatend to lock him up as well, for demanding action! So its cool to drive and cause accidents in East London when youre intoxicated (if youre of colour) , the cops just turn a blind eye?!???? This is just not on!
