Email I received this morning. I dont need pats on the back but what makes my day is to know the impact we are having on our kids. This particular student athlete kept his composure the entire football season with his team not allowing his coaches to discourage him. I can tell you this much he is a BEAST on the field and because of his families wiliness to place their childs needs 1st and provide him with opportunities to display his skills on the national stage he is getting recruited and has the attention of several NCAA programs in spite of. Ammon is a different kid compared to a year ago. His confidence and drive to be successful in the classroom is back and his love for football as equally as strong. A year ago his grades slipped A LOT and he wanted to give up football. Whenever I talked to him about playing ball at the next level or just about college period he would look away and politely smile and dismiss my comments. This semester, he is an A&B student (pun intended). Ammon is the happy and confident kid that we raised with renewed aspirations and dreams. It has a lot to do with your hands on honest approach and your ability to just relate to our kids. I spoke with Johnny, Trey’s father. Not sure if Johnny shared this with you, but he said that Trey was smiling after the first practice last week. He has not seen Trey smile after a football practice or a game since little league. That is another testament about what you are doing. Trey is a good kid with a lot of potential. I’ve watched him over the years and he has a very good sense for the game. Trey is another kid that doesn’t get much playing time, but the world better watch out when he gets his size. Anyway man I know that it can be difficult doing all that you do, but we appreciate you. Thanks, John
