As a fellow woman of some intelligence, I am challenging you to properly educate yourself concerning both risk and benefit of medical cannabis BEFORE wielding your power to hinder or prevent real and legitimate treatment options for thousands and potentially millions. Also, please keep in mind that no amount of accomplishments, awards or acknowledgment will preserve your place in politics, in an elected or appointed position if you continue to be ignorant to the needs and wants of your constituency. You represent a broad base of individuals with different needs whether you believe that and value their importance or not. Among those are the numerous veterans whose very existence made it possible for you to even be in a position to greatly disservice them. You have no experience in health care, no education in medicine, no background in chemical dependency or addiction so please ask yourself, who gave you the right to tell thousands of desperate vets that they are so inconsequential to you that they dont even warrant a STUDY to provide evidence as to whether or not another treatment option might be safe and effective for them. Oh, thats right, we already established that above. Quite the slap to the face. Please do the right thing, its a STUDY. Eventually, the people will question those in opposition of the quest for knowledge. And then the people will remove them as they are an unnecessary obstacle. Thank you for your time.
