Embassy of India Moscow Press Release Minister of State (I/C) of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India visits Moscow, 15 -18 June 2014. Union Minister of State (I/C) of Petroleum and Natural Gas Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan visited Moscow from June 15-18, 2014 in connection with 21st World Petroleum Congress (WPC). He was accompanied by senior government officials and top management of major Indian oil & gas companies like Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, ONGC Videsh Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Oil India Limited, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, and Petronet LNG. The Minister chaired the opening plenary session of the WPC and inaugurated the India Pavilion at the WPC Exhibition; besides presiding over the Indian Ministerial Session under the WPC framework on June 17, 2014, which was attended by senior representatives of prominent oil & gas companies of the world. The Minister had a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Energy of Russian Federation, Mr Alexander Novak to explore opportunities for cooperation in oil & gas sector. He also held bilateral discussions with the Deputy Minister of Energy of Colombia, the Minister of Oil & Gas of Kazakhstan, Minister of Oil & Gas of Algeria, Minister of Oil & Gas Trinidad & Tobago, and the Advisor to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia. The deliberations were held on specific issues in a spirit of mutual engagement and cooperation. Moscow June 19, 2014
