Embrace Oregon is so excited to announce the official launch of Office Moms and Dads at both Clackamas County DHS offices today! Our Office Moms and Dads initiative will ensure that every child that is waiting for a foster placement in a Clackamas Co. DHS office will be waiting with a nurturing DHS background checked volunteer. Working in collaboration with the Protective Service Supervisors, these Embrace Oregon volunteers will care for, distract and entertain children in the midst of a very uncertain and vulnerable time. Thank you, Embrace volunteers, for stepping into this unprecedented opportunity! Thank you, DHS, for the privilege of allowing the Embrace Oregon community to come alongside you as you work with our community’s most vulnerable children!
