After two General Elections, LHL has changed his tune even as he made tearful promises of change on the last day of campaigning in GE-2011. Regrettably, it was in the typical PAP form of ‘DUPLICITY and HYPOCRISY’ that LHL had followed in his attempts now to prepare the ground to remain in power after GE-2016 – even as the population is disillusioned to his ability to lead Singapore forward. With LHL in the PM seat, it has been one gaffe after another that has been tripping his performance both locally and internationally. Locally, we have seen the absurd conflict of interest in the PAP-AIM scandal in trying to sabotage the WP Aljunied Town Council Management, and his dubious attempts to introduce the Population White Paper, and now the hopeless reasonings to put a noose on social media and soon the various videos uploaded onto the World Wide Web. Internationally, Singapore was embarrassed by LHL stupidity in an after dinner speech – at a US State Banquet before an illustrious gathering of leading US politicians and industrialist – when he attempted to make light joke of a serious environmental problems of dead pigs in a Shanghai River and air pollution in Beijing. In one stroke, LHL managed to masterfully offend both the US and PRC politicians with his low brow joke. Clearly, Singapore is straddled by the vanity of LKY to believe that his PAP and his own kin is the best for Singapore. Clearly, after 54 years, Singaporeans no longer believe in LKY or the PAP. It is time for change.
