Emma Update: Tuesday we worked a trail right around the house on the mine trails. The old Champion mine has lots of trails that intersect many different places, wooded areas gravel areas and dirt paths. Shawn ran a trail for about a mile across a road through many intersections and up some gravel hills. It made for a good hard trail challenging Emma all the way. Shawn took a video at the find and I have to learn how to crop the video the beginning and the end has all the action the middle is kind of slow. Emma made all the intersections without a problem but at the end where Shawn hid was up a gravel hill with larger rocks. Emma was having a hard time finding the scent on the rocks but once she had the idea she shot up the rocks and found Shawn with out a problem, so this was just another training tool for her to learn and she did it just great. I have a hard time remembering that Emma is only 4 months old and is handling everything we can throw at her. What a great dog she is showing us, all I have is one word STOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!
