Emma had been working double shifts to make save enough to get her own apartment. She loved her parents, she did, but staying in that old factory with her mother, father and son just wasnt cutting it. She fiddled with her keys as she sat at the kitchen counter, trying to remember what needed to be done for the day. With everything going on, her head felt like mush and her stomach didnt feel that great either. The effects of Coras death had worn off and everyone and everything was seemingly back to normal. When the blonde arrived at the station, she got out of her yellow bug and shut the door with her hip, not bothering to lock it. Whoever would be dumb enough to steal the /Sheriffs/ car, was someone with not a while lot of common sense. Emma pulled the door open, feeling the gush of warm air hit her face as she stepped into the Sheriffs station. It was quiet. Just how she liked it. Emma walked over to the dart board, pulling off her missed shots and tossed them in the small bucket where they all lived. She looked over at the cell, as if someone was inside and shook her head. Thankfully, the town drunk, Aka Grumpy, was on his best behavior for Nova. She gently took her seat behind her desk and stretched a little. Time to get to work. She said aloud, reaching into the filing cabinet for the complaints folder. Thankfully, theyre werent many. Emma did her job. And not to toot her own horn, but the people loved her as Sheriff.
