Emmanuel People God. Yesterday @ Emmanuel Global Church Man of God Apostle TL Mofokeng teach about KNOW YOURSELF and all was taken from the Book of Matthew 26:69,70,71,72 and 74. He started telling the congregation that to indentify and acknowledge our weakness is a victory itself meaning that is a 50% of the Victory. He said no perfect being, no such thing as perfect meaning that such people do not exist. He reveled that the unique temptation of a Christian can spelt out in five words which is fear, ego, pride, greed and moral compromise. As we are growing in responsibility, as we are growing in power, as we grow in influence, the temptation increase in our behaviour anf in our character. That is why you see the Pastors at the beginning very a simple man, but now we can not even talk to them or even rich them. Because we allow the blessing of God to control us, not the source of the blessing. No matter the position you are occupied you may be an Apostle, President, Governor or a Teacher I mean any position you occupied. If you area man of people you should be very accessible but untouchable. But when you are not accessible you are afraid of touched, you are afraid of destruction. If God is your security and protection then you should be very accessible but untouchable. Because we are man of people not man of man. The evidence that God is the one that put you in the position is your accessibility. You must be available for the poor, to show that God is the one that place you there. Look at the case of Peter whom the Bible regards him as an Apostle (Position) according to the verses we read. Peter because of fear dinied Jesus and raised curse on himself to deny Jesus. He said to congregation people will dinied your calling and tell the people that you are a fraudster at area knowing exactly you are called. At the beginning they were with you and they heard from Prophets about your calling but today because of fear they dinied you and rejected you. But God is God he is with you right there you are Shout Jesus Shalom.
