Emperor Asoka got several complains that many Bhikkus were practising adhamma. On his request Sangha called an assembly of 75,000 Bhikkus who were put to cross checking by the superiors. After a great suspicion, the Bhikkus were asked to remove their upper robe. Out of 75000 assembled Bhikkus, around 60,000 were wearing thread (Janaeo) under their dress. These Brahmin intruders were expelled from the Sangha who later assembled near Nalanda and established Mahayana as a conspiracy & strategy of counter-revolutionby debasing Dhamma into dharma. Poison can never be converted into nectar. A Brahmin is injurious to mission, movement and family alike.
