Employment Opportunities Temporary - No Benefits 108 N. 40th Street | Phoenix, AZ 85034 Department: Information Technology Position: Computer Lab Technician (2 positions) Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, schedule may be flexible Pay rate: $11.40/hour Job Duties & Responsibilities 70% Assist students with using hardware/software to complete assignments. 20% Maintain, diagnose and repair computer equipment, if necessary arrange for repair. 10% Perform related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals Knowledge of various operating system software, for example: Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7 and 2003/2008 Server Knowledge of various application software (database, word processing and web browsers) such as Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 Suites, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome Customer service experience and good communication skills Desired Qualifications Minimum of one year customer service experience in a computer support or educational setting Knowledge of computer hardware and software as evidenced by industry certifications such as A+ or MCP Ability to work independently and in a team environment Experience working with diverse individuals Special Working Conditions Position may require working between the scheduled hours of 7:00AM – 8:00PM.
