Employment Opportunity: ****The Courtyard by Marriott is currently seeking reliable team players to fill the following positions: -Front Desk Attendants to assist our guests with check in, check out, reservations, question about local area, problems or concerns in regards to their stay, as well as various other things that our guests may need. Front desk attendants are also asked to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of our lobby areas, front desk areas and at times may be asked to assist in the ...cleaning of a guest room. It is also very likely that this individual will be asked to assist the kitchen staff from time to time. All candidates for this position must have a positive attitude, willingness to perform their duties according to hotel standards, and desire to help others. This is, for the majority, an evening and weekend position. Typically, shifts are to be either 1pm-9pm or 3pm-11pm. A different schedule, at times, may be necessary. Pay starts at $11.00/hr -Bistro Attendants for small in lobby restaurant. This position will include taking orders at the counter, exchange of money, making coffee items, mixing drinks, running orders to tables, busing tables, prep work for next shift (dinner preps for breakfast, breakfast preps for dinner), cooking items using turbo chef, completing food and safety logs, as well as other tasks ...as assigned by manager. This position includes FOH and BOH duties as well as some front desk tasks. We are looking for people for both morning and evening shifts. Pay starts at $10.00/hr. -Housekeeping staff to provide cleaning services for guest rooms. Ability to stand, bend, and move for long periods of time is required. Must be self motivated and able to work quickly and efficiently. Shifts begin at 8:30 a.m. and end when all rooms are clean (typically 6-8 hour days). Pay starts at $9.00/hr with pay raises at 30 days and yearly thereafter. All candidates must have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and the ability to perform job duties as assigned in compliance with hotel standards.
