Encouraging words from Carters Crew ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was up earlier than usual today, and I walked into Carters room to check on him. I paused longer than normal today and looked at his bald little head and his pale skin. In the quietness, I let myself get a little down as I thought about his innocence and the part of that which has been taken during the last 8 months. I didnt get too far into my day before I remembered this song, which we sang in church on Sunday. I remembered how, as we sang it, Carter sang so boldly and so fervently. His innocence has also allowed him to trust in God so easily and without doubts, and that has not been taken from him! As we were on our way for lab work today, Carter said Mom, isnt it awesome that the God of Angel Armies is always by my side? I know Who goes before me, I know Who stands behind! We didnt make counts today to start maintenance. ANC needed to be 750 and was only 270. We will try again next week. We will continue to trust in the One who goes before us!
