Consider being an activist parent, teacher, veteran, religious clergy, or student who wants a different kind of future for their families and their community by becoming a counter-recruiter at your local high school. Counter-recruiter activists provide a different perspective to students about what it will mean to enter the U.S. military services in this moment. The work involves talking to students while tabling and passing out literature in career fairs or while there are military recruiters doing the same on campus, passing our fliers in-front of school, participating by talking to student assemblies, setting up a peace club with students, presenting a more balanced curriculum in your classroom or giving a peace sermon at your church.
