Today was the first major really major demonstration against the Water Tax. It wont be the last. Nobody should think that a single march, or even a series of marches, will defeat the Water Tax on its own. We now need to build on today by intensifying the organised opposition to water meter installation and building community-based and controlled campaigns of mass non-registration and non-payment.
