#EndevIndonesia As part of capacity building and knowledge dissemination activities, EnDev Indonesia (represented by Amalia Suryani) contributed as a resource person in the training programme held by The Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) of Indonesia. This training on Renewable Energy: Micro Hydro Power for Rural Development was hold in Surabaya on 22-29 September 2014. The total of 18 participants came from eight ASEAN countries, South Africa, and Cuba of which 80% of them are government officials. The objective of the training programme is to provide participants with basic knowledge of micro hydro technology and its implementation in rural area, including the productive-use-of-energy measures which was presented by EnDev Indonesia.
