Endorsements for my book have begun coming in. Heres an awesome one from entrepreneur Martin Downes! Another Christian book? - God help us! I have read hundreds and more often than not feel robbed. I was adamant I didn’t require any further encouragement on the creative front- that’s my forte. I just finished the book and consider myself to be flatteringly encouraged to pull of even my most audacious dreams, you know, the ones you haven’t told anyone about just yet. It’s surprisingly funny for a bloke who spends much of his time in a church setting. The vast majority of books based on this particular topic come across as entirely condescending, pretentious and patronising leaving you with the dreaded assumption that the place the author is describing is entirely unattainable for you. This book is not one of them. It is essentially refreshing- no really. Not in the sense of being handed a pint of ice water after a trek through the Kalahari but rather more like looking above your head and seeing a perfectly functional ‘reserve’ parachute after suffering a complete life threatening malfunction of your main canopy. I am not at all worried about the author and his ability to provide financially for his Brazilian wife. If all else fails he will undoubtedly succeed as a stand-up comedian or at the very least a film critic. Look me in the eye and tell me you didn’t cry with laughter about the bit with the blue budgie!
