Endoscopy tomorrow afternoon. He fevered again in the night and, as has become the pattern, required blood products and felt better as the day wore on. We got some very sincere giggles and a lot of love out of him today though. :) Prayers for safety during and after the scope tomorrow and that he would be comfortable. The biggest fear is the downward spiral that something as simple as a scope can bring. When talking with all the doctors today in rounds the sentiment is that we are walking on thin ice with him leaking bacteria into his blood stream and still fevering while on IV antibiotics and antifungals. As strange as it sounds we are waiting for him to get better or worse to make future decisions. Time is the key... And 8 months into hospitalization, time is not a fun plan of treatment. :( We are doing okay, though. We have truly felt bolstered by the love we are receiving. The little ones are giddy about Christmas and we even received a few of the cards for Angels birthday already! The map is up and were ready! THANK YOU to our friend, Vanessa, who is organizing all of this during a VERY busy season.
