#Endurance: Suzuka 4 Hours, Thursday commenced with the first activity for Shelina and Melissa with the only practice session planned for the 4H Race event. Melissa went out first in the session for both riders onboard the Synergy Force Moriwaki Club Honda and on her second lap, accelerating out of the hairpin, the motorcycles rear tyre lost grip, slid and found grip, which trew Melissa of the machine, sliding along but luckly out of the path of oncoming riders. Fortunately, Melissa was unhurt, but she was unable to return with the bike to her team in the pit. On Friday, the Moriwaki team gave first Shelina the chance to discover the track again in the free practice session for only the second time following the tests two weeks prior. Shelina and Melissa improved on their laptimes considerably, quite a challenge since this would only be their second outing on the challenging Suzuka course, with 37°C and close to 90% humidity. Melissas qualifying time put the Synergy Force Moriwaki Club Honda CBR 600 in 52nd position, in a field of 69 participants. The team has good hopes and is looking forward to the 4H Race day.
