Enjoy a feast of entertainment at City Square to get you in the mood for the visit of Stoke. Be sure to get down early and head to City Square to hear from Manchester City Women stars Toni Duggan and Steph Houghton ahead of their crucial Continental Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea. MCWFC are bidding to reach their first ever cup final, and the popular duo are ready to talk through the sides landmark season - their debut campaign in the Womens Super League. Former City skipper Kenny Clements will also be on stage to chat about the clubs past and present and if thats not enough, The Cult guitarist Billy Duffy will be chatting about about Manchesters rich and varied music and sporting scenes. If its music youre after, weve got it covered. Singer songwriter and Britain’s Got Talent graduate, Lauren Thalia, is ready to entertain with her powerful voice and infectious energy, after honing her live set performing to fans up and down the country. There’s something for everyone when Ukelele band Ukebox take to the stage. The five piece have tinkered with a range of classics to produce fresh, amusing takes on everything from the Beach Boys to Beyonce – not to be missed! Plus, a London-based dance troop will be providing something a little bit different ahead of the big kick off at the Etihad Stadium. Once again head over to West Reception for our usual pre-game show, including competitions, the thoughts of former City players Richard Edghill and Tommy Booth, plus the chance to greet the first-team squad as they arrive at the Etihad Stadium and prepare to take on Stoke. Plus, for an extra bit of fun, we’ll have a caricaturist on hand to capture drawings of our young supporters to be displayed in the family stand, as well as a football freestyler guaranteed to dazzle fans with his outrageous set of tricks.
