Must be fast paced, multi-tasking, dependable and responsible! We use a flexible schedule, so shifts may be longer when busy, shorter when slow, etc. Following every shift, you get a free meal. Must be able to READ and WRITE ENGLISH and FOLLOW RECIPES. Eden Alley requires you to be: Prompt getting to work at scheduled time. Ready to work when on the clock. Self starter. Able to work fast, safe and precise. Clean worker. Knife skills preferred. Attention to details: plate presentation, portion size and execution of recipes. Eden Alley is a vegetarian kitchen. The job for all of the kitchen workers is a production one. Repetitive daily tasks are what we all do. We do have a creative menu that changes 2 to 3 times a month. We expect our staff to be responsible without supervision. You are given a great amount of trust and your co-workers and you are the staff that produces ALL the food we serve on a daily basis. Everyone in our kitchen takes care of production lists, par lists and communication with each other on menu changes, counts and revised kitchen procedures. If you are a slacker there is no place for you in our kitchen. Previous experience a plus… but a great personality and attitude are most important.
