Lovecraft, Mac Murray College Professor Emeritus Robert Seufert has written a brand-new short story entitled “The Deep One.” In addition to horror, this genre-bending story also contains elements of romance, philosophical reflection, and political allegory. It weaves Olympic swimming, the Dutch East India Company, unnatural matings, and computer technology into a tangled web of love, deception, intrigue, and terror. The timing of this reading in the immediate wake of Halloween is not entirely fortuitous. All are welcome and admission is FREE, but seating is limited and those interested in attending are encouraged to arrive early. For mature audiences only.
