Enjoyed a rare day out yesterday with my family to London to see the sights, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. A special moment was the remarkable display at the Tower of London. What an amazing tribute to mark the 100 year anniversary of the outbreak of the 1st World War. To see the different generations of visitors from all over the world appreciate this tribute and at the same time acknowledging the circumstances first hand was an amazing experience. You can even purchase the ceramic poppies on display here until November 11th, with all monies raised going to armed forces charities. Its projects such as these that make me really proud to be English.
