Enjoyed another couple of days on the road from Nyons, through Mirabelle Aux Barronies, Piegon onto a medieval village at Le Poet Laval and then drove through to Marsanne. Now peeps ... this was our first attempt at NOT booking ahead :-) Luck for us, the tourist info centre was open and the lass there spoke English. She gave us lots of recommendations of places to stay. Problem No. 1 ... they had recently rezoned and changed street names, so no addresses came up on google maps. Had to go back to get directions. First place, no entry so I called. No English spoken so I managed to make myself understood only to find out they were booked out. 2nd place ... same! 3rd place ... same! O..Oh...sensing a pattern :-) Tried the last and lowest recommended option ... spoke English ... had a room and it was around the corner from where we were parked! YAY!!! Bathroom reminds me of the Flinstones, but comfortable, gave us a great dinner and a fab nights sleep! Onwards!!! PS: Chucked in a couple of Wheres Wally (CC) for your entertainment :-)
