Enjoying a romantic dinner of tacos with my superman, compliments of UAB:) It was a great day to have a great day and another day on the road to complete healing is in the books! My man has had an awesome day...thank you Lord! If all goes as planned we will be in the hospital until Sunday and then make frequent out patient trips to Montgomery for lab work and transfusions if needed while we wait until time to begin the transplant phase...probably in about a month. As I mentioned last night, the chemo for this round is not as long nor as powerful so were praying for no ill side effects. Please send prayers specifically for this. I have done ALOT of thinking over the past 24 hours about our donor, who does not know us from Adams house cat. What a selfless act of love and kindness. We will be forever grateful to this person! PLEASE lift him in your prayers! We thank Jesus for pairing him with us and we know this is all part of His plan. So many of us are organ donors but, if you are like me, you never considered stem cell or bone marrow donation. Just like organ donors, these donors are giving another person a second chance at life!
