Enlightenment (the search for truth) is not a weekend retreat. It does not come in a molecule. Take it from an advocate for the use of psychedelics: No one trips their way to the truth. There is so much more to it than that. There are many paths. All ranging in degrees of ease. The easy paths to enlightenment, the easy paths through Magick, lead only to self destruction. The path to the truth is hard, it is rocky, it is filled with twists and turns, hills and valleys, mountain peaks and caves... it is filled with mud, with slime, and with all the shadows of yesterday. Shamanic plants, psychoactive molecules, when used properly and intelligently can aid in the recovery of the senses (higher and lower) and can aid the traveler along the path with various lessons taught through their respected use. They are not, however, the singular answer.
