Enough good things cant be said about charity housing - TopicsExpress

Enough good things cant be said about charity housing establishments like the Morrison house in Salina and the home that opened its doors to us here in KC--the Friendship Inn. The three story bungalow is only a five minute walk from the hospital and the staff raise the bar on hospitality. I could go on and on about the architectural beauty of the house, the comfy furniture, the big public kitchen, the flat screen with ESPN, but when the day is spent, its a blessing to say goodnight to a sick, loved one and not to worry about distance or housing costs on top of everything else. Im writing this post in the dining room where one of the staff members asked about our situation and offered us warm and genuine encouragement. Grandmas upstairs sleeping. The clock is ticking away in the kitchen. If this house feels like anything, its home. Grandpa should be eating lunch about now. Theyre feeding him like a king...with a squishy electric throne.
