Enough with the perfidious and baseless allegations of Russian subversion and interference in Ukraine, when the entire destabilization of the Ukrainian state is nothing but a Western-orchestrated plot. And considering that the murderous Washington-installed junta in Kiev has no authority and no legitimacy whatsoever, the pro-Russian, pro-autonomy people under attack in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine have every right to resist this criminal, unelected regime which poses an existential threat to their identity. With that said, and in the wake of the heinous US-EU-backed massacre in Odessa, the current siege on Slavyansk and other acts of brutality across numerous neighboring Ukrainian cities and towns, if Russia decides that the escalating violence in those regions warrants some kind of intervention, whether overt or covert, to ensure the protection of ethnic Russians with whom it shares undeniable historical and cultural bonds, as well as to combat NATO expansionism, then it too has not only every right but also the duty to do so.
